Councillor Candidate

Denise Searle

Conservative candidate for Southwick and Wickham

Conservative

I have lived in the area for over 40yrs. Working for Barclays Bank in Wickham Square until starting a family. I have been active in many organisations such as, School Governor, Playgroup Leader, Akers and Parish Councillor. I have helped to set up a Repair Cafe and a Greening Campaign Group. In recent years, I do not feel our rural way of life has been supported by the Lib Dem city centric council. I’d like to see more local opinions, experience and local knowledge being considered before planning, housing it highest decisions are made. I believe it’s time local people have a part in local decisions/policy, they are the ones who know the area best. We deserve better than we’ve been getting, so let me out your views forward to those that will listen. Southern Parishes have a Lib Dem controlled City Council who overlook our rural needs. A vote for me will be a step closer to your voice being heard. I will endeavour to assist with all types of village issues and to help you get your problems resolved , not ignored.
