Councillor Candidate
Gabriella Giles

Gabriella Giles

Conservative candidate for Chiswick Riverside

Conservative

Gabriella currently works as a Project Manager for an International Medical and Travel Security company based in Chiswick Park, having joined the company in April 2012. Prior to starting her current role, she was based in Aberdeen for 2 and a half years, where she was responsible for setting up sales business practices for the company across the North Sea, regularly travelling to Norway to speak to clients and deliver training. Outside of work, Gabriella has acted as a trustee of a charity which raises awareness and funds for causes in Central America, and has also worked to get young people involved and engaged in politics. Most recently, her focus has been concentrated on projects looking at equality in the workplace and supporting aspiring business women. Gabriella is also an avid cyclist, not just for those short trips around Chiswick, but also taking part in endurance rides. She has helped to raise over £5000 for London’s Air Ambulance by cycling from London to Paris, and completing the London-Surrey 100 twice. She has agreed to cycle this route again in 2018, once more to raise funds for London’s Air Ambulance and is planning to cycle from London to Amsterdam later in the year. As such, she sees the need to improve safer cycling in the borough on all routes, seeing that this can be done in a way that impacts residents who choose to cycle on smaller roads more than main ones.
