“My name is Steven Adams and I’ve lived in Hampstead all my life, as have my grandparents, parents, children. My children and I all attended school here. I wanted to make a difference in our community so I’ve been a governor of the major Frognal Independent School for the last 5 years.”

“For 35 years I have been a practicing architect with my firm based in Belsize Park. Combined with being Chair of a Conservation Area Advisory Committee, I will ensure that all planning and construction proposals are safe and well-communicated to our community. ”

“As a previous Councillor for Belsize Ward, I achieved many successes assisting residents. In 2022 I championed local initiatives such as the Belsize Streatery and helped residents resist misguided transport proposals made by Camden Council. I worked together with Council Housing groups to fight off unpopular planning applications and sat on the Licencing and Housing Scrutiny Committees to protect our environment. My position on the Council was always firm in support of residents. I am committed to driving progress, creating improvement, and understanding the background of all local issues. ”
