In Gary's own words

I am Gary Gadston, a resident of Edgware with social and business roots in the area dating back to the Sixties.

Having run my own construction business for over 40 years, I have experienced how wasteful spending, poor decisions, and excessive bureaucracy from local authorities drive up costs, placing severe and unnecessary financial pressure on small businesses and working families.

I believe Barnet Council has lost control of its finances. Residents are paying the price through ever-increasing Council debt and tax bills. The introduction of transparent financial disciplines need to be introduced, with a clear focus on fairness for residents rather than bureaucracy.

I am committed to protecting the residents and the character of Burnt Oak, and neighboring communities by advocating for sensible development that provides appropriate infrastructure and improvements to local services. Overdevelopment without proper planning must be challenged.
