Green Party

I’ve lived in the ward I now represent since I was a child; and these streets will always be my emotional HQ. Like many people, I’ve built my life through a mix of different experiences - from working in video media and the charity sector, teaching and playing music, and now being a councillor! Those roles have connected me with people from all walks of life, and given me a real grounding of the challenges we all face day to day. As a councillor, I bring a practical, 'fair but firm' approach rooted in real life. I’m keen to bring Mildmay residents into actual decision-making, improve our streets and green spaces, as well as provide impactful support for our young people. Mildmay deserves representatives who genuinely know the area, who listen, and who act. The Green Party represents the clear choice to bring about the change we have all been waiting for; a party that is ambitious, hopeful and serious about delivering real results for our communities.

What Carlos's actively working on locally

Save Paradise Park Nursery

Islington Council are shutting down a nursery due to the charity they commission to run it (IPA) folding. Not only are there huge questions regarding oversight and accountability, we need to fight to keep the nursery open in the short term and make sure children don't pay the price for a crisis they didn't create.
