In Gavin's own words

Gavin Maw has proudly lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne since 1988.

After qualifying as a dentist at Newcastle University, he worked in NHS practices across the North East before running his own successful dental practice from 1998 to 2020.

Frustrated by what he sees as over 25 years of betrayal by the political establishment, and the country’s financial, social and cultural decline.

Gavin joined the 4.07 million who voted for Reform UK in 2024's General Election and quickly became an active Reform member.

He now serves as Chairman of Newcastle’s North Branch and is

standing in the South Jesmond By-Election to bring a positive and much-needed change at a local level.

Gavin believes in common-sense politics, driven by local people’s real concerns.
