In Chewe's own words

As your councillor for the past 11 years I have served Quarry and Risinghurst, living and working locally for a charity as a qualified accountant. I have been active through the Headington and Risinghurst Community Associations and serve as Oxford City Council’s Cabinet Member for A Health and Fairer Oxford and as well as the council’s Small Business Champion. I have previously served as a governor at The Swan School and oversaw Oxford’s 28 council allotments. I believe in the transformative record of Oxford’s Labour council and how it has positively served my community in Quarry and Risinghurst, from delivering new, affordable and council housing, to leisure and parks, while staying finnancially buoyant in challenging times.
