James Thorniley (he/him) is a local campaigner, parent and school governor who has lived with his young family in Lye Valley ward for eight years. He is a software engineer for an independent online radio and music platform.

James Thorniley said: "The Labour Party has let down local people in Lye Valley. I'm committed to representing all residents here, and making Oxford fairer, greener and more equal. As the second largest party on Oxford City Council, Greens are best placed to hold the Labour council to account.
