In Michael's own words

I have lived in Oxford for 46 years. I run a language school in the city centre, and was a school governor for some years. Before that I was a teacher, and publisher of educational textbooks. We have good schools in the Cowley area, and large employers in the Mini plant and NHS trusts. As your councillor, I would seek to support the work of the council to boost employment, training and apprenticeship opportunities, and to get the best out of local services for our community. We have an immediate need to attend to issues with roads, travel and buses, but beyond that in an uncertain world I would support projects and work which brings our communities together.
