Peter Charles Coggins
Liberal Democrats candidate for Churchill
Active on State
I am a retired surveyor who has a keen interest in housing matters and in particular the shortage of social housing in Oxford. I have lived in East Oxford for over 30 years. I spent 10 of those years on the Committee of Divinity Road Area Residents’ Association in various roles including that of Chair. I worked hard during that period to promote the interests of local residents with a particular focus on traffic and planning issues. I was part of a team that was influential in preventing developments that were harmful to the local environment. As a bird lover I am concerned about the quality of the natural environment in Oxford and will campaign to protect and enhance it. I am a keen cyclist and support the Strategic Cycle Network for Oxfordshire.
