Stephen Robert Hurt
Green Party candidate for Quarry & Risinghurst
Stephen Hurt (he/him) has lived and worked in Oxford for over two decades. He strongly believes that Oxford is an open and welcoming city, but it is also facing increasing inequality – making it clear that we need to put people and the planet at the centre of our politics, and that only by electing more Greens that this will be possible. Stephen teaches Politics and International Relations at Oxford Brookes University and is an active member of his trade union branch and the local Trades Council. Outside of work he volunteers as a youth cricket coach at a local club.
