In Tariq's own words

Tariq Saeed (any pronouns) is a born-and-raised 'Bartoner' who grew up in Barton before studying at the University of Oxford, which they graduated from in 2025 — as a student activist he campaigned for ethnic minority, LGBTQ+, and working-class students.

Tariq is passionate about addressing the challenges facing the environment and understands that our solutions must also benefit everyday working people - he believes “only a party not funded by billionaires and fossil fuel giants can reliably stand up for people AND the planet.”
