Minesh Parekh

Labour candidate for Crookes and Crosspool

Active on State

I first came to Crookes & Crosspool a decade ago while studying at university, and fell in love with the area. I'm honoured to be your Labour & Co-operative councillor and to have the opportunity to serve our community. I first stood for election because I wanted more action on housing, public transport, economic justice, and the climate justice. In that time I have introduced policies that have made our local economy fairer, and I have worked to ensure local services protect the most vulnerable. After over a decade of austerity, I know there is much more to be done, and I hope you will continue to put your faith in me to stand up for social, economic, and climate justice at a local and national level.
