“In Alison's own words
“I am a fierce defender of justice and peace. I am a teacher, for the last 22years I have dedicated myself to social change through education. It is my honour to engage pupils who have previously struggled to engage in the school system. My Buddhist practice enables me to stay grounded and focused whilst making waves in society. I work together with other faiths and those without faith to run events in Solihull. Our next big event will take place on 8th September at Warwick University. Watch this space! I am aligned to Green Party policies of social and environmental justice and inclusion. I am completing a postgraduate Law degree and enjoy playing the violin and singing- once in a while I spend time with my husband, my 18 year old houseguest and my two cats. Laboremus.”
