In Lee's own words

I'm standing for election to South Cambridgeshire District Council because I believe our community deserves politics inspired by hope, councillors who will stand up for our environment, fight for genuinely better public transport, and put residents ahead of developers. The Green Party offers that vision: one where our villages and green spaces are protected, where public money is spent wisely, and where local democracy actually listens to the people it serves.

I've lived in the area since 2019 and am proud to call Great Shelford home. I believe local government works best when it's grounded in integrity, compassion, and evidence-based decision-making. That's the focus I want to bring to the District Council; improving planning decisions so they genuinely work for residents and the environment, and pushing for more effective use of public money, particularly to deliver the better public transport that South Cambridgeshire so badly needs.

As a tech entrepreneur, I know how to deliver reliable public services that actually work for people. I understand budgets, accountability, and the importance of getting things right. I've also volunteered with Cambridge Samaritans, supporting people through some of their most difficult moments - an experience that taught me the value of truly listening, and of showing up when it matters.

The District Council elections on 7th May 2026 are Shelford's opportunity to vote for what you believe in this time: Vote Green, for Real Hope and Real Change in your area.
