Gemma Deeney is the Green Party candidate for West Leigh. Gemma lives in central Leigh. She grew up here and attended the local schools. A former primary school teacher of ten years and mother to three children, Gemma is concerned about air pollution, looking after nature & wildlife in our parks and our beaches, and increasing green spaces for all. Gemma owns The Refill Room, a zero-waste, organic shop in central Leigh. Passionate about reducing waste and single-use plastic, The Refill Room promotes sustainability and well-being. Gemma believes community coming together is key to a greener, cleaner & safer town.
