In Kevin's own words

Like you I live in Westborough with my family, I know many of the issues which affect us locally and some of those you have raised with me and my campaign team. You want a clean, tidy, and safe local area to live in, so do I.

In Westborough you will have seen new pavements, extra street lighting and more trees. The Labour led administration is putting £10 Million each year into roads and pavements as part of the plan to make our city better.

We can only do that by providing value for money with the council tax you pay.  Our council tax is lower than Rochford and Castle Point which are run by the Conservatives.

We are increasing the pay of social care workers who provide care to the most vulnerable, giving them more security and ensuring we have staff to deliver these vital front-line services.

Building on the full-fibre rollout and our investment in the city's digital infrastructure, Southend is fast becoming a leading location for digital businesses, attracting more investment and highly skilled jobs and career opportunities to the city.

Achieving city status gives us the opportunity to take the next steps forward in building the city we want to become, and Westborough will be a part of that.

I hope you will consider supporting me to be our local councillor at this election.
