Edd Stonham

Green Party candidate for Histon & Impington

Active on State

Green Party

I’m proud to be standing as a Green Party candidate, bringing years of local government experience and a strong commitment to Green values. Having lived in the village for over 19 years with my family, I care deeply about protecting what makes Histon, Impington and Orchard Park special. I believe tackling climate change, protecting green spaces, and ensuring development is properly planned go hand in hand with supporting thriving local communities. I’m a keen cyclist and understand the importance of safe walking and cycling routes, better public transport and practical local climate action. I serve as a Parish Councillor and as a trustee of HI Friends and the HI Pump Track, helping support opportunities for young people and strengthen community life. I’m also involved with the Salvation Army and run a small AV and IT business, so I have real-world experience of supporting local jobs and enterprise. I believe in open, transparent local government and giving residents a genuine voice in decisions. As part of the Green Party team, I’m committed to working for a fairer, greener future for our community.
