In David's own words

Hello, I'm David and I'm standing to be elected as your Green Party councillor for Welwyn West on Thursday 7th May.

As a parish councillor, I have worked closely with the Digswell Residents’ Association to increase and also enhance the quality of Welwyn’s green areas. I have assisted the DRA with:

-Opening up Digswell Orchard for residents

-Taking over the ownership and maintainence of the Wildings Nature Reserve from the RSPB to make it available for residents’ enjoyment and tranquility

-Preserving the historical nature of Digswell Village with our first and much loved village sign

-Maintaining the playing fields and riverside pathway.

I have also provided financial and legal assistance for the Singlers Marsh Action Group to attain Village Green status for Singlers Marsh. We are working to create a new skateboard park for the health and enjoyment of the youthful members of our community.

As your local councillor, I will work closely with the county councillor to fix potholes and grass verges, and will push for fairer and greener housing policies and building.

Your choice in this election is really clear, it’s another Conservative, or you can vote for me and the Green Party on Thursday 7th May and help change Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council!
