Green Party candidate for Haldens
Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m standing to be re-elected as your Green Party councillor for Haldens on Thursday 7th May. For the past eight years, it truly has been a privilege to serve as a councillor for Haldens. I am appealing to have your trust again so I can continue supporting the community in what looks to be a busy and difficult upcoming year, starting with the new Local Plan and Local Government Reorganisation. As your local councillor, I will be able to achieve even more for you, from working closely with the county councillor to fix potholes and grass verges, to pushing for fairer and greener housing policies and building. I have been utterly dismayed by reports of a lack of care towards the housing of vulnerable persons, whether that be through allocations or repairs. As I stated in the chamber, it is not good enough, and I will continue to push for better. This election is really clear, it’s either Labour, or you can vote for the Green Party and me on Thursday 7th May to make hope normal again for Haldens and Welwyn Hatfield.
