In Mike's own words

I am married with 4 children, all born and educated in Widnes. I have lived in the borough at the same address for 42 years.

I run my own local business, which was established in 1985 and has always had its base in Widnes.

I am heavily involved in the local charity scene and I am a board member at Halton & St Helens Voluntary Community Action having been the Chair for a number of years previously.
