I’ve lived in the Thames Ward for my entire life, and have spent time in and around almost all of the nature this area has to offer. I’m also, like the other members of this ward, aware of the challenges we face with increasing threats to wildlife and other societal shifts. The Green Party offers a unique sense of hope in regards to issues faced in both the local area and on a national scale, and I believe that starting small is just the first step forward in shaping our future – both as a community and as a country.
About the role
The responsibility of a councillor is to represent the people within a ward by making decisions on local services and other local issues.
