Astra Birch
Liberal Democrats councillor for Pembury & Capel
Active on State
Council: Tunbridge Wells
Term ends: 4 May 2028
I moved to the area over 10 years ago and now have a young family. I'm an advocate for giving back to ones community and ensuring we improve the place in which we live. My professional background is in financial services and currently chair the Finance, Innovation and Transformation Committee at the Borough Council. I have also been a Parish Councillor in Pembury since 2022 and chair Events which is responsible for running 3 community events a year - something I love doing!

Access at Dowingbury Farm Development
The access point for the Dowingbury Farm development on Church Road is not appropriate. Alongside the parish council, I am actively pushing for the access to be moved to Maidstone Road.
