**About Daisy Richards** Daisy has had a lifelong connection to Waltham Forest,b having been born in Whipps Cross and now living in Leyton. After a rewarding eigth year teaching career, she now works as a therapist; helping people navigate mental health challenges with empathy and practical support. Daisy understands the link between living standards and wellbeing. She is standing to implement community-centred changes in Leyton. Daisy is a member of Waltham Forest for a Free Palestine and the Waltham Forest Community Coalition. **What Daisy stands for** I am standing in Leyton because I genuinely care about our residents; my neighbours. We deserve a bigger say in how our ward is run, with decisions aligned with community values and priorities. I want Leyton to be a place where people from all different backgrounds feel safe, supported and welcome, whilst ensuring the basic needs of every resident is met. It is essential that lifelong residents of Waltham Forest are able to remain in the borough and therefore ensuring housing is affordable is crucial. I will amplify the voices of our community, to create the future we deserve.
