Rob Gardner

Green Party councillor for Leyton

Term started: 7 May 2026

Green Party

**About Rob Gardner** Rob lives and works in Leyton, helping run his family’s long-established business. He’s been involved in community organising that supports small and independent businesses across East London, and has helped run divestment campaigns to prevent universities investing in fossil fuels and the arms trade. **What Rob stands for** I’m standing for council because Leyton deserves better representation. Decisions are often made without properly listening to residents or supporting local businesses. I want to change that by being visible, accountable, and focused on the issues people actually care about. I’m keen to make sure the community is properly represented in the council and ensure Greens bring about transformative change based on their values.
