Sarah Wakefield

Green Party councillor for Deansgate

Council: Manchester

Term ends: 2 May 2030

Green Party

Here's my top three priorities - Standing up for residents - I will campaign for rent controls, along with accountability for landlords and developers. Deansgate is a cultural centre, but it is home too. - Fight for community spaces - I know how important clean air and green space is. I will work with community groups of local green spaces - working with the council to control litter, create play areas and more trees! - Support culture - I will get stuck in with community groups and work with our cultural spaces to do more to support residents.
