Steven Hall
Conservative councillor for East Wickham
Council: Bexley
Term ends: 2 May 2030
I have lived in the heart of East Wickham with my wife and son since 2004 and was originally an East Wickham Councillor between 2009-14 before returning in 2018. I'm a Dockers son who was brought up on a Charlton Council estate. I'm now an I.T. Consultant, a parishioner of St. Mary the Virgin Church, a member of the East Wickham Police Panel, and an ex-Police Officer. As a Councillor, I engage with local groups such as the East Wickham Conservation Volunteer Group, the George Mead Memorial Stables, and Animals Day Out, and actively work with residents to resolve issues relating to the Council, housing associations, and even utility companies! Much of my casework is now picked up from Nextdoor.co.uk, which I have used for over 4 years to provide regular updates to East Wickham residents. The Nextdoor #BeKind ethos is central to my character. I have worked closely with my colleagues Christine Catterall and Caroline Newton particularly on our campaigns to report poor GP surgeries, obtain indoor shop cash machines in Welling, and support shops and businesses in Welling. I hope to see all three of us re-elected.
