Stuart Carl Henley

Conservative councillor for Halesowen North

Council: Dudley

Term started: 7 May 2026

Conservative

I fought to become a Councillor over many years. I did this to help locals and the area, not because of politics. UKIP were active throughout the Dudley Borough helping out with many projects, so I joined them in approx. 2004 and became active with some of their projects and many of my own. It took me 10 years to get elected, but the time did not stop me working to help so many. Prior my councillor term ending, a few of us discussed a local party and the idea grew and now we have the start of a local, community party. Now the work starts for the community party and I will do all I can to make this work. Also along side the above I've been a fire fighter for West Midlands Fire Service since 1998, prior to that I was in the Auxiliary Royal Air Force at Brize Norton.
