Elected in May 2023, Keith has lived in the ward, in Staythorpe, since 1974. Prior to his retirement, he was the founding Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development in Business, based at Nottingham Trent University. Before that he worked within the Nottingham Business School as a Senior Lecturer in International Marketing. A lifelong Liberal, Keith's first foray into politics was standing as the Liberal Candidate in a mock General Election at school at the age of 16 (though he's not admitting WHICH GE that was!) In his time he has fought four General Elections and two European elections. He has been involved in Environmental issues for well over 50 years and was the founding Chair of the Green Liberal Democrats (GLD) in 1988. GLD is the environmental conscience of the Liberal Democrats. He was "recycled" as Chair again fomr 2020 to 2025 and is currently the group's Vice Chair.

- My key concern is to ensure we are doing all we can to mitigate against the dual threats of Climate Change and Biodiversity Losses.
Working on a project to ensure all Council owned properties for residents are brought as close as possible to net zero carbon
