Richard Meredith

Conservative councillor for Dale

Active on State

Council: East Riding of Yorkshire

Term ends: 6 May 2027

Conservative

First elected as a Councillor in 2015 Richard ran for Council to acquire a voice and prevent further inundation of his area. In the 20 years before being elected the community saw land for 3,500 homes approved for development. Since 2015 land for only 35 houses has been allocated. He has remained a Councillor after achieving this goal to ensure that residents have a passionate, committed, and approachable representative who believes that it’s his duty to represent people to the Council, not the Council to the people.
