Tom Bennett

Conservative councillor for Redcliffe

Council: Kensington and Chelsea

Term started: 7 May 2026

Conservative

My name is Tom Bennett, and I am your Conservative candidate for Ealing Southall. My priorities for Ealing Southall are reducing crime, opposing new tower blocks, improving air quality, and supporting local businesses. Crime in Ealing is up by 10% year on year, but the Conservatives are fighting back, through hiring 20,000 new police officers nationwide, and giving them greater powers of arrest and stop and search, but also through establishing a Prison Education Service that will give ex-convicts the skills they need to enter the workforce once they leave prison. Tower blocks aren’t the answer to the lack of housing. As your MP, I will push for good quality low-rise developments in our constituency, not towers like those proposed near West Ealing Station, which are marketed abroad, unsuitable for local families, and completely out of keeping with the area. I would push the local Council to take advantage of the clean-air subsidies that are being proposed by the Conservative Government, and plant hundreds of new trees, and install 2,000 new electric-car charging points across the borough. I am a small business owner myself, and I will always stand up for our local business. Once elected, I would be proud to vote for the Conservative policy to cut business rates for small businesses, a move which would significantly reduce the burden on the large majority of our businesses in Ealing Southall.
