Fund and require schools to provide trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming education in schools. This should include understanding threat responses, co-created sensory tools, protective behaviour policies, and ring-fenced money for early intervention and counselling, and training for staff.

Review and reform education system to support neurodivergent children in schools
I want the government to review and reform mainstream education so neurodivergent children are understood, supported, and included — with trained teachers, sensory-friendly classrooms, proper funding, and accountability under the Equality and Disability Acts.
Introduce lessons on neurodivergence to the curriculum for all children
Every child should have the chance to be understood. I want the curriculum to require that all children be taught about neurodivergence. This should include teaching on Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dyscalculia, Tourette's Syndrome, and sensory processing disorder, to name a few examples.
Mandate trauma-informed training in justice, healthcare, education & social care
Introduce legislation to require professional bodies to include accredited trauma-informed training as a mandatory requirement for professionals in justice, healthcare, education & social care. Embed into standards, inspections & safeguarding frameworks to ensure consistent understanding of trauma.
Require schools to teach how to support vision impaired & disabled people
Implement high levels of education within the national curriculum about different disabilities, their impact and how to support people with these impairments.
Provide funding so every school can have a full-time school counsellor
We call on the government to require every school to have a school counsellor. Many young people face multiple mental health challenges in school and do not have someone to get help from. This must be changed. Children must not have to suffer in silence anymore.
