Dr Munir Abbasi is Labour’s candidate for Central Greenford in the 2026 London Borough of Ealing council elections. A proud resident of Greenford, he is committed to serving the local community and ensuring that residents’ voices are represented in local decision-making using bottom-up approach.

Dr Abbasi holds a PhD in engineering and is a professional engineer. His work focuses on delivering practical solutions that support resilient communities, social innovation, advance climate-neutral, and sustainable development.

Alongside his professional career, Dr Abbasi has been actively involved in community service. He is serving as a school governor and previously sat on the Ealing Citizens’ Equality Tribunal, helping to address inequality and promote fairness across the borough.

He is passionate about strong public services, safer neighbourhoods, cleaner streets and parks, opportunities for young people, and fair development that benefits local residents.

Dr Abbasi is committed to working with the community to help make Central Greenford a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous place for everyone.
