Councillor Candidate
Mike Wright

Mike Wright

Green Party candidate for Weddington

Green Party

I have lived in Nuneaton for 17 years, working throughout the town and the surrounding area as a self-employed Maths Tutor. I am not a career politician; I am standing for election because I am fed up with what is happening to our town. The town centre - including our once award winning market - is being allowed to fall into a steep decline, whilst ill-judged developments on the fringes are leading to urban sprawl and severe traffic congestion. Mainstream party politics have failed us: only the Greens have the ideas and the commitment necessary to regenerate our area.
