In Miranda's own words

Walking around the centre of Oldham is a different experience from just a few years ago. We have a cinema and a coffee shop culture now!

But what difference have these changes made to people living here?

Working in adult social care, I earn little more than the minimum wage. Like many of the people living in St Mary's, I don’t go to the cinema. And the minimum wage doesn’t buy much coffee.

Our councillors need to look wider and deeper than shiny buildings.

As a Green Party councillor I would bring a new perspective for the residents and workers in St Mary's.
