You can often find me at the Histon farmers' market on Saturday mornings at the HI Sustainability stall.”

“My involvement in local politics began when I worked to address flooding issues that affected me and other residents caused by the construction of the new primary school. I was appalled by the impact of the flooding on my neighbours, and since County Council officers were not taking the necessary measures to resolve the problem, I coordinated with residents and engaged directly with the County Council. Eventually, I got them to acknowledge that the school’s construction was impacting the residents of Garden Walk and to commit to taking steps to rectify the issue.”

Properly thought-out planning is essential for improving our environment while providing access to nature and maximising biodiversity.”
