In Ben's own words

**About Ben Aaron Copsey**

Hi! I’m Ben, one of your Green Candidates for William Morris Ward. I’ve been living in Waltham Forest for nearly ten years, and have been active in the community for environment and people-first developments since day one in the borough!

I work in Access to Higher Education and am proud to say I’ve spent my professional life so far working towards educational equity for London’s amazing young people.

I know what we can do, together, when we put the effort in to listen, collaborate and put health, happiness and environment above austerity and developer profit margins.

**What Ben stands for**

As a Councillor I will stand very simply for the hope – and determination – that life for everyone in the borough can get better.

We deserve better air quality, protected green space and open land, investment in the areas of the borough that really need the help, and developments that work for the communities they’re in, instead of lining the pockets of developers at the cost of our health.

I will work for resident-led policy and democracy, clean air, green space, education, opportunities and enjoyment for our young people, and social justice at every level of government.
