Green Party councillor for Gipsy Hill
Term started: 7 May 2026
Chloe Hawryluk is a former parish councillor and long-time activist dedicated to making Lambeth a fairer, greener borough. She’s an elected representative on the National Executive of the Young Greens, and works for a pro-European organisation, campaigning to repair Britain’s relationship with Europe. As a young working class woman, Chloe understands first-hand the pressures many residents face. From rising rents and insecure housing, to the lasting impact of austerity and the cost of living crisis, her experiences reflect those of many people across Gipsy Hill. As a renter herself, she knows how difficult it is for young people and families to settle down in their own community. Chloe is committed to standing up for the diverse communities of Gipsy Hill, fighting for affordable housing, accessible public services, and a greener, healthier neighbourhood. She believes local politics should work for everyone, and is determined to ensure that the voices of ordinary residents are heard loud and clear.
