In Em's own words

**About Em Dean**

I moved to London in 2016, and I quickly fell in love with this city! I’m a university lecturer in computer science. In politics, I’ve been involved in various policy construction, mostly in education and equalities issues, and some of my policies have become law or official guidance in Wales, Scotland, and overseas.

I also have some expertise in electoral compliance and regulation, and internal party governance. It’s very important to me that political parties work to elect responsible, ethical representatives who put local people first.

**What Em stands for**

I’m standing for the Green Party because I think voters deserve councillors that work for voters, not for themselves or special interests. By electing Greens we are electing a strong and passionate voice for local people and local interests.
